Rochester Muay Thai at the ISKA Eastern Nationals 2026
This past weekend, Rochester Muay Thai traveled to Newark, DE, for the ISKA 2026 Eastern Nationals. Representing us were Eric and Sam, both stepping in after months of preparation.
Day One Results
Eric competed in both the MT and KB divisions and had a solid first day, walking through every opponent and stopping 3 via first-round TKO.
Sam made his debut in the KB division with zero fights to his name and showed a ton of heart. After a strong second round, the referee stopped the fight near the end of the third due to his opponent’s nonstop aggression. Even with the loss, Sam showed courage and a willingness to test himself against tough competition.
Day Two Results
Eric came back fresh on day two. In his opening match, he earned a unanimous decision over a tough opponent, then followed it up with another dominant performance, scoring a TKO and capturing the KB title.
In the final bout, Eric fought for the MT championship against a very strong opponent. He dropped him in the first round with a knee and controlled the rest of the fight, landing multiple elbows. After three hard rounds, Eric earned another unanimous decision and secured the ISKA MT title.
A Remarkable Performance
Proud of both Eric and Sam for representing us with heart and courage.
Eric had little time to rest, jumping right back into training in preparation for this past weekend’s Full Contact Promotions event, where he captured the KB 155 Title Belt.
His recent run has been nothing short of outstanding, earning multiple TKO victories and three championship belts.
With only two years of training, Eric continues to prove what discipline, consistency, and hard work can accomplish.
Please join the Rochester Muay Thai family in congratulating him on this achievement.
