  • No. Everyone trains at their own pace, especially in the beginning. You don’t need to be fit to start—training is how you get fit. Come as you are, we’ll guide you from there.

  • Yes. At Rochester Muay Thai, safety is a top priority. Classes are structured, controlled, and coached with beginners in mind, focusing on proper technique and progression.

  • Not at all. Many of our members started with zero experience. Our gym is known for being welcoming, respectful, and beginner-friendly.

  • Comfortable workout clothes, water, and an open mind. No gear is required—we’ll help you figure out what you need.

  • Most beginners start with 2–3 classes per week. Listen to your body and build consistency at a pace that works for you. Competitors are expected to train 5-6 days a week.

  • No. Muay Thai is for all ages and backgrounds. Training is adapted to your abilities, goals, and experience level.
